A lot of people have asked me ever since I fired up the Mindbla blog if I was going to be blogging about Tokyo Disneyland or other Disney destinations, and the short answer is “sure”, with the caveat that I’m planning to blog about pretty much everything going on over here in Japan as well as my life experiences and future projects, etc., but since we live pretty much right down the street from Disneyland the topic is sure to come up from time to time.

Besides that, as many of you know I worked at the Tokyo Disney Resort for many years, so at some point I’m sure I’ll have some old stories to tell or some new stuff to discuss such as who’s performing there, what new shows are up and coming, and of course there is always the possibility for new situations/new gigs to arise over there at the resort and if that happens I’ll be sure to blog about that as well, assuming they let me lol. 

I still have tons of friends from Disney both people who’ve worked there, who are still working there, and folks who are big fans of the park. As most of you already know I’m a Disney fan from many moons ago and I always enjoy the conversation when people talk about visiting Disney parks all around the world. Personally I’ve been to all of em except the ones in Paris, which is definitely on the bucket list as well someday so as far as the travel experiences idea I’ve already touched upon I’m sure I’ll be blogging about now and future visits to the Magic Kingdoms whenever the opportunity arises.

Aside from theme park discussions and posts, one of my dreams is to take a Disney cruise someday. So I imagine there’s the possibility of blogging about that, as well. Any chance those boats will sail on over here to Japan?

So anyway, that’s the long story short to answer those of you who sent me emails asking if this new effort was going to be ‘another Disney blog’. If you’re a Disney parks fan (I most assuredly am!), do keep watching this space because I will certainly be writing about Disney related topics here and there. If the opportunity arises I’ll post a link up to wherever might be convenient on one or more of the many Disney boards out there in case you’re looking to read only about Disney stuff and not my other ramblings about writing, drumming, travel and the whole arts & entertainment spectrum. I’m quite sure there will be a little something for everyone here on the Mindbla blog.

I invite you to leave a comment or question, whether it be questions about the Tokyo Disney parks or about what it’s like to work in entertainment there. I know pretty much everything about the place and I’m happy to share.
